'TATA - AirAsia' -- the next big thing
In this self-obsessed world nobody
is spared, and the competitors would go to any extent for their survival, specially in a dynamic market like India. It's
no different in TATA-AirAsia case, which is expected to conclude soon as narrated here. It is so shocking to believe that even
federation of Indian Airlines was also involved in this game. May be the
federation forgot their ancestor TATAs who launched India's first
airlines - TATA Airlines in our country and later Government took over (sic) to
make it a public enterprise and named it Air India, and ultimately ruined it.
Air
India has accumulated losses of around Rs 15,000 cr over last 4 years; and 60%
of overall airlines industry debt of $14.5 billion. It's no rocket science to
make out that the netas VIP treatment had a major role to play. Amul's troll below is a
humourous way to convey the arrogant behaviour of the men in khaadi.
For
the TATAs, a return to aviation marks an “emotional” reconnect with a business
they had pioneered; but for their rivals, it’s a bleeding business.
Wish to see TATA-AirAsia flying high and God bless them the strength to render
great services not just to the citizens of India but also globally.
Flying will no longer remain a dream for middle and lower middle class citizens (atleast) once TATA-AirAsia becomes reality. As the AirAsia tagline in the above pic says "Now Everyone Can Fly" :)
P.S: I have stopped following BJP's Subramanyam
Swamy on FB, for his efforts in objecting the deal. End of the day it is all
about believing and following like minded people.
