RAB ne banayi SONY

Disappointing!!! a word that would utter when asked about the review of Romance King -Yashraj's latest flick Rab ne banadi jodi(RNBJ). This movie seems so contrived and is nowhere close to the best romantic movies ever produced by this banner. There was no lover boy Raj of DDLJ, nor the madness that we saw in DARR and not even the master piece of sacrifice of Veer-Zaara (all SRK-yashraj). Though when I got to know the theme of the movie b4 watching it, I was dying to watch it. Theme:It's real love when you see Rab(God) in another human being . It could have easily conveyed a strong message to every AAM AADMI that every individual is hero in his own way irrespective of his/her colour, status, and identity; coz, love does not differentiate between the the uninteresting and interesting, unattractive and attractive, ordinary and exceptional, simplicity and style. Ultimately love knows no distinction. It can happen to anyone and once it does it surround us into it completely and gives us those miraculous experiences that only love can yield. The previous movies did have a strong screen presence, romantic dialogues, loving music and good characters supporting the lead roles which were missing here badly. Being a Big admirer of Yashraj movies, wish they comeup with gud flicks in the future as done in the past. So now jus taking the positive out of this film, desperately started discovering my RAB in someone : p

Shamma kehti hai ki khalik ne banaya mujhko,

Mai jiske haat lage usine jalaya mujhko.

woh shamma bekaar hai jisse ujala na hua,

Woh husn bekaar hai jise chahne wala na hua…..

MUMBAI massacre

Life is so Ironic where you can always expect the unexpected things waiting to happen and makes every human paralyzed. Such an unexpected and undesired incident was the terror attack @MUMBAI on 26/11. The attacks at 11 different sites can easily be considered as one of the darkest days of !ndian history. This terror attack took place heavily @ 3 popular locations in particular: The Taj Intercontinental and Oberoi-Trident hotels, and Nariman house. The way this attack was carriedout has hardly got any solutions to overcome such incidents in the future; @least for a common man there is no clue, who till now felt that there are people who are looking after them providing blanket from all possible calamities. Is this play gonna be an alarm to those sleeping people in white collar to wakeup and react b4 its too late.My deep Condolence over this weird MUMBAI massacre that took place last night and indeed a nightmare for the nights to come.; and sympathy towards the family of the civilians and the uniform men who sacrificed their lives..... One beautiful song that describes this incident in true sense is from Rang-de-basanti. It narrates how a mother awaits eagerly for her child to return @ the fall of dawn, unaware of the tragic situation of her child on the other end. Similar emotions might have been experienced by many unfortunate families in this episode. lines..... "Aaja saanjh hui, mujhe teri fikar dhundla gayi dekh meri nazar....aajana"

Kahan kahan dhoondha tujhe
thak gayi hai ab teri maa

Aaja saanjh hui mujhe teri fikar
Dhundhla gayi dekh meri nazar aa ja na (2)

A. R. Rahman:

Kya bataoon maa kahan hoon main
Yahan udney ko mere khula aasmaan hai
Tere kisson jaisa bhola salona
jahan hain yahan sapno vala
Meri patang ho befikar udd rahi hai maa
Dor koi loote nahin beech se kaate na

Lata Mangeshkar:

Aaja saanjh hui mujhe teri fikar
Dhundhla gayi dekh meri nazar aa ja na......

Teri raah takey aankhiyaan jaane kaisa kaisa hoye jiyaa (2)

Dhire dhire aangan utre andhera, mera deep kahan
Dhalke suraj kare ishara chanda tu hai kahan
Mere chanda tu hai kahan
Luka Chuppi bahut huyi saamne aa ja naa
Kahan kahan dhoondha tujhe thak gayi hai ab teri maa

Aaja saanjh hui mujhe teri fikar
Dhundhla gayi dekh meri nazar aa ja na (2)

kaise tujhko dikhaun yahaan hai kya
Maine jharne se paani maa tod ke piya hai
Guchcha guchcha kai khwabon ka uchal ke chuwa hai
Chaaya liya bhali dhoop yahaan hai
Naya naya sa hai roop yahan
Yahaan sab kuch hai maa phir bhi
lage bin tere mujhko akela

World Vision's Child Sponsorship programme

On the occasion of Children’s day, this is my small tribute to those unfortunate poor children who were blessed to live the richest phase of one’s life- childhood in a poorest way.

But thanks to many non-profit, non-commercial org. all around the world, bcoz of whom the things are better than the worse. World Vision is one such a Org. which has contributed to the world of poor Children education, and which inturn helped in eradicating child labour to some extent. Now many such fortunate children are living their lives with sparkles all around, how otherwise can a little soul like them find escape from the harsh realities surrounding them? If prevention work is not done now, they stand a good chance of becoming a candidate for the streets in the not so far future.

Children are loved by one and all. They win over our hearts with their angelic eyes and innocent smiles. It makes one realise that, maybe that’s the way God wanted us to be.

Woh kagaz ki kashti

So wonderful was the childhood…that I realised when I heard the Jagjit Singh’s ghazal “Woh kaagaz ki kashti” on the first instance. The innocent creatures who do not have the meaning for any of the adjectives like agony, betrayal, envy, possessive, regret, and best of all the least expectations and independence of changing the colours of wings on every pulse. People who have never heard this song b4, plz do find few lines of it, and can also hear to the song in the below embedded player.

Childhood: The times when things does happen byitself widout any rigorous efforts. A phase where one do not think about what others think about them b4 taking any leap. Never revert to any pledge made and no place for promises and commitments. Admiring the things they did without others knowledge or help and no matter what others feel, do what the heart says. I would love to live my whole life very much as the way I lived my childhood, and no matter what the people have to say or even preach the purpose and philosophy of life.

BAchpan K DIn Kitne Achay Hote The, Tab Dil Nahi Khilone Toota Karte The...

Apney Jal JAane Ka Bhi Ehsas Na Tha, Jalte Sholon Ki Taraf Lapka Karte The...

Ab Ek Ansun Gire Tu Ruswa Ker Deta hai, Bachpan Main to Jee Bhar K Roya Karte The..

Woh Kagaz Ki Kashti

Ye Daulat Bhii Le Lo, Ye Shoharat Bhii Le Lo Bhale cheen Lo Mujhse Merii jawanii Magar Mujhko Lautaa Do Bachapan Ka Saawan woh Kaagaz Kii Kashtii, woh Baarish Ka Paanii
